Fast forward to late January and the super team are standing at 19-26, and three games out of the 8 seed in the east. They are also trending downwards fast as they have lost thirteen of their last sixteen. With all the losing has come lots of drama, which is nothing new for the Knicks. Derrick Rose mysteriously did not show up to a home blowout loss to the Pelicans on January 9th, but that has not even been the main source of drama. Carmelo Anthony and the constant trade rumors along with his rocky relationship with Phil Jackson have dominated the headlines in Gotham.
