Kansas Jayhawks To Play In Italy Without Dedric Lawson

Every four years, the NCAA chooses a team to travel abroad and play in a foreign exhibition tour. This year, the Kansas Jayhawks were chosen and will go to Europe to play four exhibition games in Italy. Two will be played in Rome and two will be played in Milan.

Arizona Earns No. 1 Spot In Top 25

Arizona freshman guard Rawle Alkins announced on Sunday that he had second thoughts about entering the NBA Draft, and instead opted to return to Arizona for this upcoming season. It may wind up being a logical choice for Alkins because Arizona is expected to accomplish big things during the 2017-18 NCAA basketball season.

Oregon Defeats No. 1 Kansas, Moves On To Their First Final Four In 78 Years

The Oregon Ducks defeated the Kansas Jayhawks, 74-60, on Saturday night at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament. For Oregon, it’s been a long time coming.

Kansas’s Josh Jackson Charged With Vechicular Vandalism

Two days after defeating TCU and securing at least a tie for their 13th-consecutive Big-12 Conference Championship, Kansas University received a sour taste in a truly bizarre way. According to multiple reports, freshman guard Josh Jackson, has been charged with misdemeanor property damage. It goes back to a December account when Kansas women’s basketball player, McKenzie Calvert, reported to police that her car had been vandalized.

NCAA March Madness Outlook

According to NCAA.com, The Division I Men’s Basketball committee unveiled their predictions for the Sweet 16 for March Madness, on CBS this afternoon. They have the defending National Champions, the Villanova Wildcats, on top as the first seed, and have Mike Krzyzewski and the Duke Blue Devils, 16th. In between those teams are the likes of schools such as North Carolina, Louisville, and the currently-ranked number 1 team in the country, the Gonzaga Bulldogs. With the tournament a month away, and the regular season still currently ongoing, it’ll be interesting to see how accurate the committee was with their choices, and how everything ends up playing out.
