1. Avery Bradley’s last-second shot gives Celtics 111-108 Game 3 win over Cavaliers – The Celtics steal Game 3 without their leader and star Isaiah Thomas. Bradley’s 3 pointer with less than a second left gave the Celtics the victory. The victory ends the Cavs 13 game playoff winning streak. Game 4 will be Tuesday at 8:30 EST.

Where Will DeMarcus Cousins End Up?

At 26 years old Cousins is entering the prime of his career and is currently in the middle of his best season as a pro.  The only issue is he is doing it on a Kings team that is going nowhere in the west. They are currently 3 games back of the 8 seed in the west wasting Cousins’ 28.3 PPG and 10.9 RBG. It is in the best interest of both the Kings and Cousins that he be traded.

Is Now The Right Time To Move Melo?

It would behoove the Knicks to upgrade defensively at the wing and allow Porzingis to become the main guy on the Knicks. How can the Knicks do this? Trade Carmelo Anthony away to a win now team in exchange for defense and youth. The difficulty here is in Anthony’s no trade clause. But as long as a trade may benefit both parties it may be possible to trade him away. With the following trades we would have to assume Melo is willing to waive the clause in order to proceed.

The 2016 NBA free agency period was one of historic proportions with over $1 billion dollars in committed salary given out. The unprecedented (but expected) increase in the salary cap left most teams with enormous amounts of cap space to go shopping for free agents.

Orlando Pro Summer League Preview

This summer, a few NBA role players, many international draft picks and older national prospects alike will compete for a chance to earn fame and favor in Orlando’s upcoming Professional Summer League. The Knicks, Heat, Pacers, Thunder, Mavericks, Clippers, Hornets, Pistons and two Magic teams, Blue and White, will compete in a week long competition in the hopes of building their player’s professional images in the eyes of scouts and team executives. A champion will be crowned by the week’s end on Friday, July, 8th but, grabbing the win is just a sweet bonus for capturing a D-League spot on an NBA affiliate and earning a reputation in the eyes of team’s head offices.
