Kentucky Fans Identified But Not Charged For Threatening NCAA Official

According to numerous news sources, NCAA referee John Higgins was the target of threats from Kentucky basketball fans during the NCAA Tournament. They occurred after Kentucky’s 75-73 South Regional final loss to North Carolina in Memphis Tennessee on March 26.

NCAA Schedule Revision Talks Continue

The NCAA Basketball Rules Committee continued to talk about the possibilities of shaking up the regular season schedule. According, to the News & Observer, one of them was possibly breaking up the games into four quarters instead of the two 20 minute halves. Ultimately, that idea was scratched.

Miles Bridges To Return To Michigan State Next Season

According to numerous news outlets, Miles Bridges of Michigan State, has decided to keep his college basketball career going next season. “I got some unfinished business here,” Bridges told the Associated Press. Bridges’ ultimate goal is to hoist the NCAA National Championship over his head. Bridges had a dazzling freshmen year campaign, leading the Spartans in points per game, which was 16.7 points.

The Environment Of Ewing’s Hiring As Georgetown Head Coach

Basketball hall of famer and New York Knicks legend Patrick Ewing, will return to his grassroots later this year, as he was named the new head coach of the Georgetown Hoyas last week on April 3. Ewing, the first Hoya to be selected first overall in an NBA draft back in 1985, played for Georgetown from 1981-85 and led them to three NCAA Championship games in his four years of eligibility.
