The American Athletic Conference, or the AAC, is filled with teams that are quite often “slept” on. These are teams that are usually overlooked by most college basketball  viewers and commentators because the conference isn’t usually that popular. They rarely produce any stand out first round draft picks and the style of play in this conference can lack excitement sometimes.

Rodney Purvis Opts for One More Year

UConn forward, Rodney Purvis decided to return to play for the Huskies for his last year of eligibility. Back in April, Purvis had initially decided to test his viability for the NBA draft. Just one month later, he tweeted that he had opted out of the draft to finish his career at UConn. He will playing as a fifth-year senior.

Villanova and North Carolina Will Decide for All The Marbles

Villanova will be playing North Carolina in tonight’s NCAA Championship game as the Wilcats beat Oklahoma 95-51, the largest margin of victory in Final Four history. While  North Carolina defeated ACC woe Syracuse 83-66 to advance to the title game.
